I am using a squid proxy (privately) and have found it to generate the same error. Our corporate proxy (ISA) is exactly the same. I've come to think its not how the proxy handles the connection, but I don't think the youtube app is using the proxy for all its connections, because if I go transparent, it works fine. I’ve come to think its not how the proxy handles the connection, but I don’t think the youtube app is using the proxy for all its connections, because if I go transparent, it works fine.
